Can someone provide a step-by-step guide for replacing the bottom of a shed for a beginner like me?

I need to replace the bottom of this shed, and I’m not very experienced with this kind of work. Can someone please explain what needs to be done to fix it?

Are you looking to replace the lower part of the siding? Or are you looking to replace the entire bottom, including the floor inside?

Trim off the bottom of the siding… remove all the rot, leave the studs and frame intact… paint where you make the cuts… this will seal the wood to prevent future issues!!! … purchase 1×8 or 1×12 PVC board to cover the area where the old rotten siding was! PVC trim boards are resistant to rot… use it as the belly band around the shed… ensure it is securely attached flush with the unaffected siding and apply a generous amount of caulk!!! It would also be beneficial to slide a vapor barrier under the remaining old siding at the bottom to prevent water infiltration!!
