Can someone guide me on how to seamlessly close off and integrate new cabinets into this corner space?

I’m hoping to close off this cabinet and blend it in with the edges. (I’m adding new cabinets in this corner so I won’t need this one anymore.)
I’m a beginner at this. Could someone give me a list of materials and a simple guide to follow?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
So the new cabinets won’t be covering that opening, right? Are you thinking of putting a board the same size as the opening?
The boards won’t fully cover the hole. Any tips on keeping them in place? Also, is there a way to hide the seam?
I think it would be a good idea to trim away the bottom and middle shelf at least 1 inch back. You could then attach wood pieces to the back side of the face frame to create a filler panel out of plywood that fits snugly. Make sure to shim it flush with the face frame and use filler for any gaps.
Are you planning on adding another cabinet to place next to this one?
