Can I use decking stain on my fence to match with my stained decking?

I’m planning on staining my deck and was wondering if it’s okay to use the same stain on my fence. I want everything to match, so do you think that would work?
Since it’s wood, if it’s effective on one, it should work on the other as well
The stain really doesn’t care whether it’s being used on a deck or a fence

That’s right.
In my previous house, I opted for solid color stain that matched the house siding for both an old deck and an old fence — and it still looked great when I sold it 3 years later
You could try using decking stains on your fence instead of using stain meant for siding/fence for decks
