Can I install shower panels directly on Durarock without mudding and taping, and can I use Redgard over the Durarock before applying adhesive?

Hey there! I’m gearing up to put up these shower panels, and I was wondering if I can just install them straight onto the durarock without going through the whole mudding and taping process. Can I simply screw the cement board into the studs and then use adhesive for the shower panels? Also, do you think it’s okay to apply redgard over the durarock before installing the shower panels, or will that cause issues with the adhesive? Thanks in advance for any advice!
If it were me, I’d follow what the manufacturers suggest
Make sure to read through the instructions carefully
There aren’t any instructions on the website and I don’t have the panels yet.
There should be some stuff in the box and a code to find them online. It’ll all come together once you see them. If not, just ask.
Like, the box is still being shipped.
Are you for real?

Down at the lower part, you’ll find “product documents”.
Check out the “Installation manual”
I appreciate it!
Absolutely
Best of luck
They made a video showing how to install it!
I suggest using a waterproof membrane for the shower installation just like with any other unless the manufacturer advises otherwise. You apply the membrane to the Durock first and then attach the panel to the membrane. I am not sure what the panel is or what the manufacturer recommends.
Was unsure whether a waterproof membrane could affect the adhesive on the shower panels
