Can I DIY install a new shower with a similar design to the one on the left, including a new pan, if I’ve done a bathroom remodel before but have paid for a glass enclosure installation in the past?

Hey, has anybody put in a new shower like the one on the left with a new pan? I currently have the one on the right and I’m thinking about making the switch. I’ve done bathroom remodels before, but I’ve always paid someone to install the glass enclosure. Do you think it’s something I could do myself?
Are they tricky? How skilled are you?
Is pretty skilled with wood and Sheetrock, and has experience with minor electrical work, although never anything as complex as this. He also has done a lot of automotive work.

For this kind of enclosure, you’ll need to have the glass custom ordered from a local glass shop and have them do the installation – it’s not really something you can do yourself.
