Can flooding in my basement from a sloping yard be fixed without a sump pump?

Hey there, sorry for the not-so-clear photos, but I hope you can still make out what I’m talking about. My house is on a hill, with the back being higher than the front. The left picture shows the back, and the right shows the side. In the back left corner, it starts sloping down to the left before going towards the front. Unfortunately, that corner floods in heavy rain and it’s causing issues in the basement. Do you know of any fixes that are more budget-friendly than a sump pump? Or maybe there’s a way to seal or redirect the water? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much in advance!
