Can anyone suggest a solution to cover the drywall creases with a beauty plate or trim?

Does anyone have an idea to fix this? I noticed the drywall crease on both sides and I’m just brainstorming ways to cover it up with a beauty plate or trim.
We should consider replacing the drywall.
The easiest option is to use mesh and compound.
Upgrade to a larger unit 😂
If the surface is level, you could try cutting a square out of 1/4 MDF or poly panel and routing the edges. If not, you might need to do a drywall patch.
That’s a pretty good suggestion!
I was actually about to mention that, I’ve encountered this issue before as well
There are countless possibilities, it all comes down to how imaginative you’re feeling, or simply patch up the drywall
How about ordering something similar and making some adjustments?
Wow!
This is exactly what I need!
Do you know what they are called?
Never mind, I found the search info. THANK YOU!
Take off the lid and apply expanding foam to fill the entire box. Allow it to harden before using a serrated knife to trim it level with the ceiling, followed by mesh tape and drywall compound. This is also a great opportunity to prepare and smooth out the entire ceiling.
Yes, let’s fix it.
If there’s a bad seam on each side and a ceiling fixture right above the fan, I would take both out and install a fan light combination. Then I would repair and skim the ceiling to make it smooth, paint it, and call it good.
I’d use 1” PVC trim to frame it like a picture
The simplest option is to use a piece of white plexiglass… cut out the fan hole and then enlarge it to your desired size to extend it away from the fan.
Cut quarter inch lattice strips and create a frame that fits under the fan cover to match either the cover or the ceiling. Use liquid nails to attach it to the ceiling and conceal any gaps.
Did you come up with a fix for this repair?
Is considering a square ceiling fan box, but hasn’t made a decision yet.
Suggesting an easy fix – either remove the grill or keep it up and add a simple flat trim around it.
