Can anyone provide guidance on repairing masonry on a Victorian house, including materials and steps needed for sanding, filling cracks, and painting?

Hey guys! We’re looking to fix up the masonry on our Victorian home. Any tips on how to do this and what materials to use? We’ve noticed some cracks and flaking paint. I haven’t had much luck finding info online.
My plan is to sand down the surface, fill the cracks with plaster (not sure which kind), sand again, and then paint. Any input is appreciated!
