Can anyone in the DIY group offer a solution for repairing this?

Hey everyone in the DIY group, do you have any suggestions on how to solve this issue?
Just use a tiny bit of cyano glue to stick it back together.
Got a chip in your Formica? Your best bet is super glue (cyano) unless you want to replace it.
As the previous guys mentioned, you can remove the laminate or lay down a new sheet
Use some crazy glue and then find a matching color from those floor wax scratch crayons
Try not to stare at it
Apply a small amount of super glue along the edges. Press down and hold firmly. Try not to check on it constantly.
Use adhesive.
Could that be the vertical edge of a doorframe? Perhaps a cabinet or countertop?
Try using Gorilla glue.
To prevent this from happening again and to cover it up, you could consider adding a corner trim board.
Absolutely! That’s a great idea
I really like this idea. Thank you!
It was my pleasure
To me, it seems like this is more than 20 years old
Oh no! Less than a year already 😅
Whoops, my mistake
In the previous post, the man was examining a cracked tile on the floor with concrete and wire mesh underneath
I see, . Got it.
We manufacture laminate countertops. To my knowledge, there is no method to make it vanish. We utilize contact cement for installation. One option is to reattach the chip using this method. If necessary, lacquer thinner can be used to tidy it up.
There are a few products that can help cover it up, but it won’t ever be completely hidden. I’ve done a lot of laminate repairs in my time and picked up a few tricks. I actually mentioned one in a different comment.
I agree with , seam fill can definitely help.
I’ve also used the paint method multiple times, . Matching a sample color to the laminate with the right sheen makes it almost unnoticeable.
Reattach it with super glue. Seam fill is a helpful product for concealing cracks; color matching can be done if an exact match isn’t available. Unfortunately, there’s no foolproof way to make it completely disappear. I’ve also used spackle to fill chips and had success matching the paint.
Cover it up perfectly with this matching piece
Hey Joey, this is exactly what I was referring to.
Yeah, that should fix it without having to replace it.
Hey Joey, yeah that sounds good.
Clear glue like E6000
Epoxy adhesive
Planning to purchase a fresh home! 😻
Oh no, mentioned how expensive houses in Singapore are!
Use wood glue and firmly press it. Remove any extra glue with a wet cloth. The glue will dry transparent and should be barely visible.
Have you tried Gorilla brand Crazy Glue?
