Can a power cord be made with ends for 30a and 50a to power a trailer, or is 30a sufficient for the job?

What’s the timeframe?
Just imagine linking two converters and you’re good to go
Not quite! I’d require more information, but the one on the left is a 30 amp and the one on the right is a 50 amp. It could work, but it really depends on what you’re looking to power up.
Feel free to create whatever you desire
Is absolutely right! Sometimes you just have to throw caution to the wind and trust your luck!
Yes, you can definitely purchase cable ends and outdoor rated cable. You might need to visit a supply house to find that specific type of cable. I haven’t come across it in department stores before.
It’s clear that your thinking is mistaken! š š¤£ š
Abriel Cantu, I appreciate your help but it looks like you may be mistaken. Lol
Okay, so you’re looking to create a cord with a 30amp male connector and a 50 amp female connector to connect your trailer? That should work fine. Just use a 10awg 4 conductor s/o cord and you should be all set.
Remember the golden rule – always power off.
It’s recommended to use wire that is rated for 50A. Aim for #6 wire.

There are no regulations preventing you
There are adapters available that can be plugged in to convert. Just make sure that each end, the supply and the RV, are properly protected against overloading.
