One of us did some DIY projects while we were in the middle of getting ready for our adoption process.

Seems fine. Is the baseboard heater still being used? If not, you might want to take it out or cover it up. Little fingers always manage to find these things.
Thanks! The shelf is secured for now, but definitely need to build a box around it before the baby arrives. The one behind it already has a box, so we’ll just copy that design. Passed the homestudy inspection too 🙂
