After finishing my last house, the first thing I did was clean up the mess left by the plumbers!😡
PEX and Wirsbo plastic piping have made plumbers sloppy in general.
You’re absolutely right, . In the past, plumbers used to make copper pipe installations with sweated joints look like art. Nowadays, not so much. Some ‘electricians’ also do subpar work with pipe installations. However, I have yet to see any clean plumbing done with PEX or PB.

To be honest, it seems like they opted for the bare minimum fittings with PEX. I prefer smooth long bends over sharp 90 bends with lots of fittings that could fail.

I wonder when we’ll start seeing velcro paneling for everything made of plastic.

Piece crews + residential new construction = quick and messy. Who’s going to notice behind the drywall anyway? Will the homeowner tear it down in a decade to judge our work? Lol

Is definitely speedy and subpar. Those residential apartment buildings charging $4000 for a one-bedroom are a joke 😂
