That’s a big mess

Oops, what went wrong there

But did you know that some electricians specialize in solar installation? It’s becoming increasingly common

Shravya Anchan

It’s frustrating to see IPLD’s being used to splice mains like that in the panels; it’s better to just refeed everything

Jean Barbier

That’s right! They may be experienced in solar work, but that’s a whole different ballgame compared to commercial and industrial electrical projects

Skipping permits and inspections is a risky move

So why would someone choose to have solar panels installed if they lack an understanding of how electricity functions? It’s a messed up world, which is why I always recommend calling an electrician 😤

Viivi Pulkkinen

I work as an electrician/technician and part of my job involves installing solar panels, performing PMS and RM of battery storage sub stations, and managing BOP of high voltage transformers. In my experience, a mistake was made in the termination of the Current Transformer ”CT”, which led to a high current buildup and ultimately caused the CT to melt.

This situation is simply foolish, reckless, and extremely hazardous!
