So, we had this really nice linoleum in our bathroom when we first moved in, but it’s gotten kinda yellow over time. Any ideas on how to clean it up and get rid of the yellowing?

You could either work on your aim or just sit down when you pee…

Is this located near a toilet?

The scent could be coming from the cleaning product or another item in the bathroom (such as hairspray). Have you considered using a steam mop?

Have you thought about using a Mr. Clean eraser along with some Dawn?

A home with smokers can lead to this issue.

“The Pink Stuff” is no joke. Look it up on Google!

Try to clean as thoroughly as possible, then lay down new linoleum on top of it…🤷

It’s likely not due to wax buildup, it could be the vinyl discoloring from age or the result of screws or nails rusting in the substrate over time.

Do you happen to use “Mop & Glo” or a similar product? If yes, it might be a result of wax buildup from the product. We had a similar issue and I ended up scrubbing the linoleum with floor stripper. I also stopped using the Mop & Glo.

Is it high-quality linoleum?

The stain is likely from the subfloor, possibly due to a knot in the wood underneath.

Wait, is that a bathtub it’s leaning against? It seems like there could be rust coming from the tub, especially if it’s porcelain or cast iron.

Actually, that might be caused by glue or foreign materials seeping through.
