Any tips for removing stubborn stains from chrome chair legs or unique paint suggestions for a Bauhaus chair makeover?

Hey, I’m having a bit of trouble cleaning the chrome legs on this Bauhaus chair. I’ve already tried using white vinegar and baking soda, but the stains just won’t come off. Do you have any suggestions on how to get rid of them? Or maybe you know of a cool paint that could work well on chrome?
Definitely seems like rust.
Hey there! I used white vinegar and baking soda to clean off all the rust, worked like a charm.
Zud powder is great for cleaning.
Unless the paint is chipped, of course.

You could try soaking it in coca cola overnight. Just wrap wet paper towels soaked in the soda around it.

It’s not stains, it’s corrosion. The metal has pits that need to be sanded and repainted.
