Any tips for fixing low hot water pressure without damaging the plastic cartridge?

What do you think about this? The cold water is working well, but the hot water has had very low pressure for a few weeks now.
I attempted to change the cartridge, but I’m having a tough time removing it. I’m concerned about potentially damaging the plastic.
The likely suspect here is the cartridge. Have you tried letting it run for a while? It’s unlikely that it’s frozen shut, but there’s a possibility.
There might be a blockage in the valve located under the pedestal sink, or possibly in the supply line, or even within the valve itself before reaching the cartridge. Conducting a bucket test could give you some clues.
Make sure to inspect the water line running from the wall to the faucet. Ours were too short initially, causing them to bend strangely. I ended up getting longer ones and looping them, which solved the issue.
It seems like there’s a blockage in the hot water line. Disconnect the hot water line from the faucet under the sink to investigate. Hot water lines are more prone to calcified buildup, which can cause blockages.
If you suspect the rubber seal is affected by the heat, check the hot water maintenance valve inside the cabinet.
Let’s start by removing the faucet. Place the end of the hot water line in a bucket and turn on the shut off valve to observe the flow of hot water. If it flows smoothly, the issue is likely with the faucet, possibly the cartridge. If not, the faucet is fine and the problem may be a blocked line or a valve issue.
