“Any tips for fixing a wobbly entry lever door handle that won’t tighten with an Allen wrench?”

I’m having a harder time than I thought.
Our front door handle is loose on both sides. Not the round cover, but the actual handle. I’ve read online that I can use an Allen wrench to tighten it, but the tiny hole in the handle doesn’t seem to lead to anything I can tighten. Any suggestions??

There isn’t a set screw in there! You just push the plunger through the hole to release the handle.

If the stem is not completely inserted, you may need to push the small brass-colored piece against the escutcheon inward to allow the stem sleeve to move further in. By doing this, you should be able to eliminate any wobbling in the connection.
