Hey everyone, great to be here with all of you. Five years ago, I bought my first house after taking in my two young grandchildren. They’re now teenagers and keeping me on my toes! I’m on a bit of a budget at 65 years old, but I’m looking to spruce up my place a bit. I’m thinking of changing the color of my shutters and deck from dark to a fun teal shade. Any thoughts on that or other suggestions? Thanks in advance for your input!
The teal will look great, you can definitely tackle that on your own. For the deck, I’d go with a dark brown and throw in some black mulch in the front for a bit of depth.
I really like that idea! Currently, there are river rocks around most of the house with the plants. Thank you.
Hey Janine, I saw the back but couldn’t see the front. Honestly, if the rock is in place and can’t be moved, I use a paint sprayer to spray paint it.
The house is painted all white with black shutters.
