I’m in the process of removing some unsightly tile from my wall. There’s a concrete wall underneath, and I could really use some advice on how to effectively remove the adhesive. Any tips?
Using a diamond grind head on an angle grinder might be the way to go for you!

You could skim coat with feather finish

If you’re installing new tile (you didn’t mention your new finish), I believe you don’t have to remove all of the old adhesive. I think scraping off the loose areas would be enough. Feel free to correct me if I’m mistaken.

Head over to harbor freight and grab the diamond blade grinder set up with a vacuum attachment
