I’m putting up some peel and stick in my son’s room. Does anyone have any advice for applying it on a slanted surface like this?
Just a heads up, this is a trailer so the siding is not the same as a regular painted wall.
What do you mean? Why does it being different from a standard painted wall affect applying it on slanted surfaces? It adhered well to the other parts of the wall after I posted this, only the slants are left. Just genuinely curious?
The material is the reason. Trailers sometimes come with pre-existing wallpaper, which can make it harder for new wallpaper to stick. Standard trailer walls are typically wood, whereas house walls are typically drywall with paint.
I finished putting up the rest of the wallpaper after I made this post and it stuck to the wall really well, but I’m grateful for your concern!
You should trim it approximately to fit. Begin by adhering it to the flat edge. Gradually move towards the corners. Be gentle when pressing it down initially to prevent it from stretching or wrinkling. Make a relief cut when reaching the main corner where the angles converge. Best of luck.
Hey Weloth Jr.! I really appreciate it! I’m definitely going to give that a shot!
Place complete tiles at the forefront
Hey Topher, could you provide more details on that? Thanks!
Hey Kayla, just to clarify, I meant covering the entire width of the roll starting from the outer corner and making all the cuts at the inner corners and ceiling slopes.
I would create a pattern using paper
Hey , that idea is brilliant!! Thanks a bunch !!!
Hey , once you’ve got a solid template ready, you can use it for both sides, just remember to flip it over
