Incredible! Such an impressive change. I’m struggling to find the motivation to tackle mine with all the complicated ductwork and piping
Yeah, I replaced all my copper with pex using a manabloc. I also relocated the gas meter outside, got rid of the black iron, and installed a flexible stainless line between the ductwork. I covered the entire soffit with tongue and groove pine so it can be easily removed if needed. This allowed me to remove the drop ceiling and raise the ceiling by 6 inches in the main areas. It made a huge difference.

Before you took down that cinder block wall, did a structural engineer inspect it? The joists above the lolly columns turned out really well with those vertical planks.
Right? It wasn’t even supporting any weight. It was just a partition for an old wood furnace that was there when I purchased the house.
That transformation is truly amazing! Well done!
