How can I achieve a high gloss finish like the one promised by General Finishes high gloss product?

How can I get my finish to be super shiny like this? I tried using general finishes high gloss, but it didn’t quite give me the same effect.
Maybe you could consider trying a high gloss polyurethane?
I believe sanding it with a very fine grit could work.
Have you heard about PPG ACRI-SHIELD MAX? It’s the paint that Disneyland uses on the mainstreet buildings. It has a shiny and reflective finish.
You might want to experiment with a high-gloss polyurethane and apply three coats for best results.

That mirror-like finish on cars comes from the clear coat they use.
I think they probably used Fine Paints of Europe for the paint. It’s super pricey and really tricky to work with. I can’t think of any other brands that give the same glossy finish.
I believe they use as the brand, but I got really confused when I visited the fine paints of Europe website and saw the clear top coat. What is it about the top coat that makes it difficult to use?
It’s not about the clear coat giving you shine, it’s the actual paint itself. This is the type of paint that will really make your project shine. The challenging part is all the preparation needed to get the surface perfectly smooth. It’s a lengthy process involving multiple layers of primer and sanding before you can even start painting. And because it’s an oil paint, you’ll need to wait a while between coats.

I inquired about that for my cabinets after seeing black cabinets with an incredibly high gloss. Everyone is saying it’s a unique and expensive type of paint that is very difficult to work with. I was advised not to attempt it myself and to leave it to the professionals.
It can be really challenging to achieve that finish, you’re absolutely right.
I am still determined to have those high gloss cabinets!
If I were you, I would recommend practicing a lot. Fine Paints of Europe can be challenging to work with, especially on cabinets.
In my opinion, this man is truly exceptional when it comes to high-quality European paint with a glossy finish.

Have you seen the tutorials by Paintedbykaylapayne on IG? It seems so tricky – using a sprayer, sanding like crazy, adding more layers, and repeating the process.
