Can a chipped window be fixed, or is replacement the only option?

Hey, do you know if a chip in a window can be fixed or if it needs to be completely replaced? Just curious!
Replaced. Repaired only works on car windshields.
Maximize its potential by applying some clear caulking to seal it and prevent dust from getting inside

If it’s impact glass that’s laminated, you can fix it like a car windshield. If it’s just regular annealed glass, then you’ll need to replace it. As a quick fix, make sure to clear out any small glass fragments with a brush and then fill it in with clear caulk. Lastly, apply a piece of clear packing tape over the area.
If there’s argon gas inside, the insulation will be much less effective. Trying to remove the window to take it elsewhere will likely cause larger cracks.
